Cut Fiber Lines- Covers all charges for repairing cut fiber on your property
- Normally costs more than $300 to repair
Inside Wiring- Diagnostics to determine the source of problems
- Connected and previously working inside wire and wall jacks
- C Spire-installed wiring and wall jacks
C Spire Home Equipment- Diagnostics to determine the source of the problem
- Repair and/or replacement of any C Spire-provided equipment including:
- Residential Gateway (RG)
- Network switch/hub
- WiFi router/extender
- Mesh WiFi system
- TV set top box
- Optical Network Terminal (ONT)
In-Home Assessments- In-home assessments from C Spire Fiber technicians for the following:
- Performing the diagnostics or repairs listed above
- Customer education about C Spire Fiber products and services
- Connecting customer-owned devices to C Spire network (excludes smart home devices and game systems)
- Installation and setup of C Spire TV on supported customer-owned streaming media devices and smart TVs
- C Spire TV remote pairing and programming
- Technician visits can be scheduled as needed through the My C Spire app
What's Not Included
Here are examples of services that the Fiber Protection Plan does not cover. This is not a complete list but can provide a good indication of what types of service are not included.
Ad Hoc Tech Support- General diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment not provided by C Spire, except in the case of network connectivity to a C Spire Fiber network
- Deliberate or negligent damage to C Spire equipment and wiring
- Damage to any non-C Spire equipment and wiring from lightning, fire or other acts of God
Home Entertainment Equipment- Installation/mounting of TVs, soundbars, speakers or related devices
Smart Home & Smart Security Devices- Installation/setup of customer-owned smart home devices (smart speakers, lighting, thermostats, cameras, doorbells, locks, motion detectors, plugs, switches or related devices)
Computer Peripherals- Installation of computer peripheral devices (printers, webcams, external storage devices, keyboards or related devices)
