Lauren Lawhorn

Chief Human Resources Officer

Lauren Lawhorn is chief human resources officer for C Spire. She is responsible for leading the HR team, including talent acquisition, employee engagement and retention, productivity, employee development, payroll and compensation, HR information systems, employee records, and HR data and analytics. Lawhorn joined C Spire’s legal team in 2019, coming from the Brunini law firm where she was a partner specializing in employment matters and commercial litigation. Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President – Administration and Deputy General Counsel, providing legal counsel and leadership to the Company on many matters, especially those related to employment and benefits.

She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia in 2008 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2011. Lawhorn currently serves on the Labor and Employment Section Executive Board for the Mississippi Bar. She has served on various local boards in the past including the Young Lawyers Division Board of Directors and the Goodwill of Mississippi Board of Directors. Lawhorn was a member of the 2016 Leadership Greater Jackson class and the Jackson Junior League. She and her family are members of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Jackson.
